AIoTrust has been featured for the third consecutive year in the Wavestone and Bpifrance Cybersecurity Startup Radar
For the third consecutive year, AIoTrust has been included in the French Cybersecurity Startup Radar, compiled by Wavestone in partnership with Bpifrance.
This latest selection reaffirms AIoTrust’s position within the French cybersecurity ecosystem and highlights an issue that has been at the heart of our business since our founding: the protection of industrial environments and OT (Operational Technology) systems.
OT cybersecurity is now recognized as a category in its own right
The 2026 edition of Radar marks a particularly interesting development for the industrial sector. Wavestone has updated its classification system to distinguish between OT Security and Mobile Security, which were previously grouped together under the single category of IoT Security.
This trend reflects the market’s growing maturity and the recognition of the specific challenges related to cybersecurity in industrial environments.
Unlike traditional IT systems, OT environments rely on equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and control systems whose availability and integrity have a direct impact on physical processes. A cyberattack can therefore lead to production downtime, equipment damage, or—in the most critical environments—consequences for people and the environment.
Securing them therefore requires approaches tailored to their specific constraints and how they operate.
